Little Girl Tulle

As a mother of a little boy and a baby boy, I find myself wistfully drawn to baby girl dresses. My favorites include stripes and tulle, a very Parisian style, indeed. On that note, I love to shower the little girls in my life with an endless supply of pretty tulle dresses. This pale blush tulle dress by Pippa & Julie is a Christmas gift intended for my goddaughter, a mini fashionista in training. I firmly believe that tulle is appropriate for every occasion, glitter shoes are not only for dress up, and a kitty purse is quite necessary to hold favorite memories. One day, if I am so blessed, I hope to dress my own little girl in tulle and stripes. But if she happens to love t-shirts and jeans more, she will be in good company with her loving older brothers.

Art Fun Friday

Happy Art fun Friday everyone! Wow, can you tell how much I love fall and all the fun Halloween festivities? This weekend, my boys had a ball picking out silly and scary faces with Martha Stewart's pumpkin transfer DIY. Since, we like to wait and carve our pumpkins on Halloween weekend, this pumpkin DIY is perfect because it applies simply with water just like a temporary tattoo and extends the life of your pumpkin throughout the holiday season. Hope you have a festive weekend.

Think Pink

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), One Wish Two Sparkle's latest campaign shoot, Think Pink, was done in collaboration with Lindsay Parks Photography. Together we hope to raise breast cancer awareness and support early detection screening. With breast cancer being the second most common cancer in women outside of skin cancer, creating early detection plans can dramatically increase survival rate and make all the difference. For more information on creating your own early detection plan or to raise awareness in your area, visit NationalBreastCancer.org today.

We are very blessed to have Lindsay Parks of Lindsay Parks Photography donate her talents for this cause. These images are just a minor showcase of her creative artistic vision, extensive experience and professionalism. Please visit her site at Lindsay Parks to see more of her work.

This post is dedicated to Beth Ernst and Susan Parks, both special women who touched many lives and who lost their own battle with breast cancer, and the countless affected women who are our mothers, sisters, grandmothers and our friends.
