Miami Seaquarium

Over this beautiful weekend I visited with my very first college friend and her beautiful family. We spent the afternoon watching our children scream and run around the Miami Seaqurium, enjoying a real old-school original Florida amusement park. Even though our friendship has evolved past days of single girl wine nights, we still manage to share love, friendship, and laughter all while cleaning messy fingers and kissing boo-boos.

Bag Essentials

Gone are the days when carrying a hand held speedy seemed effortless and chic. These days as a mommy of two boys under 3 years, I depend on crossbody bags for my daily survival. Both hands are key when carrying an 11 month old and chasing a 3 year old throughout the day. This classic satchel from Kate Spade is easily my new favorite bag. I love it's adjustable crossbody straps, double handles, and of course, the leopard calf hair adds pop to any ensemble. This satchel perfectly holds all of my everyday mommy essentials.

As far as Valentine's cards go, I absolutely adore giving and receiving handmade cards. There is an authenticity to showing your love through a creative gesture. So instead of heading to Target for a commercial Valentine, take a fun trip to your local craft store, purchase a set of blank cards and let your heart guide you. Whether your in a relationship or single, your favorite guy or besties would love and appreciate a handmade Valentine.
