Nesting In Progress

Today, I'm taking you all inside my current design project...

With the twins making their debut in four months, I am definitely feeling the push to finish my son's shared bedroom. Easton, my oldest loves his big boy room and is so excited to share it with his baby brother. Easton also has been helping design and collaborate his new shared space. He chose his new bed side table as the perfect spot for his favorite toys and treats. Even though Emory is not quite ready to sleep on his own, this December his new bed arrived! Moving forward to Emory's next steps and planning for our new babies makes finishing this room a top priority. Happy Holidays everyone!

Storyteller

After two months in our new home, I am having the most fun decorating with colorful Moon Guy, shell DIY's, and personal details that make a house a home! When it comes to my design style, I tend to blend modern lines with fun, playful elements. I also decorate with the idea that pretty things should not be kept in boxes and relegated to closets. Hence, my bedside table showcases jewelry and favorite shoes!

To me, a well curated space is filled with beloved objects, pictures, and family keepsakes that evoke your inner storyteller. Something as simple as my son's feather crown from his first birthday party is a treasured memory that brings a smile to my everyday.

Sweet Bliss

Today, I took a minute to enjoy life's little things. I happily lounged with Emory and Prissy on my new PB cushion!

Art Fun Friday

Its official. Beginning every Friday, One Wish Two Sparkle will showcase our latest art collaborations (Moon Guy Collection) and feature favorite art and crafts projects that we are currently loving.

I am excited to share our first Art Fun Friday post, an antiqued mirror with a beautiful South African turbo shell design. One day while out antique shopping, I came across a very expensive shell mirror for sale. I immediately knew my next craft project would have to be a gorgeous shell mirror.

First, I scouted antique shops searching for the perfect-sized aged mirror. Once the mirror was located, my next step was to order online wholesale shells. I found they are much cheaper in bulk than retail shells. After all my materials were gathered, my trusty old glue gun was all that was needed to complete my shell design. Today, my home is adorned with light and sparkle from many beautiful shell mirrors, but this first mirror is still a favorite. I hope this Art Fun Friday post inspires your next craft project.

Suite Escape

Once upon a time, in a far away land, my master bedroom was once a sweet tranquil escape. Now used as a family bedroom (cosleeping mommy), my master suite is more often than not, full of noise and littered with toys. A typical Tuesday is now relegated to Easton's Superman bed-jumping performance night. With all that said, as I lay down to sleep, the sound of the ocean and my little hearts sleeping is now by far, my favorite escape!

My bedoom suite photos were taken on a toy clean-up day. Where is your favorite sweet escape?

My little heart, Emory James, is a sleeping angel on my king size bed.
