Afternoon Stroll

There is nothing better during the Summertime than an afternoon stroll with my little family, my Starbucks iced coffee and a crisp new shirtdress that speaks to my style sense and mommy sensibility. Even as a tired mommy of two little boys, I feel effortlessly pulled together in this classic wardrobe staple. Cheers to a lovely weekend!

I purchased this festive garland from Land of Nod and simply created a heart-shape with a couple of nails and thumb tacks. A super easy wall-art project that feels unexpected and handmade!

Lately, I have been enjoying life's little moments, like happily lounging with Emory and Prissy on my new PB cushion! 

I am also quite enamored with my new color fusion rug. With it's handwoven recycled fabrics, this rug is truly a one-of-a-kind. Who says that beautiful fun colors are just for kid's decor! 

I love pairing a pretty crop-top with a shimmery skirt for the ultimate, summer date night. Tonight's date night at Steak 954 is a rare treat when living in mommy land. Although, my party girl days are a thing of the past, a night out celebrating still brings me back to my younger pre-babies self.

My family and I celebrated Mother's Day with a delicious brunch in my mother's beautiful garden! On this special day, I am rocking my new Paige bicycle-print denim with the perfect Summer-lace top from Target.

Storyteller

After two months in our new home, I am having the most fun decorating with colorful Moon Guy, shell DIY's, and personal details that make a house a home! When it comes to my design style, I tend to blend modern lines with fun, playful elements. I also decorate with the idea that pretty things should not be kept in boxes and relegated to closets. Hence, my bedside table showcases jewelry and favorite shoes! 

To me, a well curated space is filled with beloved objects, pictures, and family keepsakes that evoke your inner storyteller. Something as simple as my son's feather crown from his first birthday party is a treasured memory that brings a smile to my everyday.
